We believe that we can improve upon past ways of living that were environmentally disconnected and taxing and create new ways of living that are significantly more connected, more vibrant, and more fulfilling.
Founded in 2008, TLB is the 10th, U.S. Transition Town, and part of an international Transition Town movement that aims to reduce potential effects of climate and resource destruction, while increasing community resilience and relocalization. (There are over 160 U.S. Transition Towns). TLB is a community of non-profits and individuals with major successes in environmental stewardship for Laguna Beach and our surrounding communities.
